The simple process to stop a panic attack and future panic attack is relaxation, easier said than done though in most cases.
Mind Set of a Panic Attack
A panic Attack was a primal instinct and survival mechanism for early humans, primarily the panic attack was used as a defense or attacking mind set, imagine the times of larger beasts and wild animals or the opposing tribal attack - this was where the panic attack would come into play and you'd run or fight or maybe both. Fight or Flight Response was a common name for this.
Why So Quick
Many report that the panic attack comes on with no warning at all, this is natural and is part of the panic attack, the unconscious mind controls the panic attack - so unfortunately you don't get a say in the timing. The panic attack registers and goes into play before you'll realize, basically the unconscious makes the decision and the your conscious mind kicks in to determine the situation. But why ? simple if a dangerous situation does occur then it's safer to act before you react.
What happens during a panic attack
During a panic attack your body and mind is in preparation for the fight or flight, you may start to shake and these areas are hand, arms, legs and feet - this is your muscles getting prepared to fight or flee. you may sweat a lot - this is your grip for holding weapons or similar. Vomiting is another natural act, lightening the load or making you appeal less attractive as a meal for prey. All of these are survival tools.
